KCET Exam Pattern

  • The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) will be held on TWO days in FOUR different sessions for four subjects.
  • Each question paper will be of Multiple Choice Questions (Objective) type.. Each questions will have 4 options
  • No negative marking is done with regard to wrong / incorrect answer. The students are encouraged to attempt all questions in order to obtain maximum marks.
  • Each question will carry ONE mark.
  • Marks will not be awarded in respect of multiple answers for the same question.

  • Candidate who is a citizen of India shall be eligible for admission to Government Seats through KCET.
  • Candidate must have passed 2nd PUC / 12th Standard or equivalent academic examination t0 be eligible for admission into under graduate course through KCET.
